Zal Iranian Group, a pioneer in the coffee and café industry with the goal of promoting coffee culture in Iran, was founded in 2009 (1388). The company, with a vertical integration structure, sources the finest coffee beans from farms around the world, roasts and processes them in its factory, and delivers them to customers through Lamiz Coffee cafés (a subsidiary of Zal Iranian Group) across Iran.

All Lamiz Coffee branches in Tehran and other provinces are exclusively owned by the CEO of Zal Iranian Group. We do not grant franchises, transfer branch ownership, or provide licensing rights to individuals. All Lamiz Coffee branches are established and managed under the supervision of the group.
The Formation of Lamiz Coffee
The idea and foundation of Lamiz Coffee began with a university thesis. Mr. Armin Lamie (CEO and founder of Lamiz Coffee), a resident of Canada and representative of the Blenz café chain, was pursuing an MBA at Royal Roads University. For his thesis, in collaboration with Sharif University, he conducted research on “Establishing Coffee Culture in a Tea-Drinking Iranian Society.”
This academic research and analysis revealed the untapped and emerging coffee market in Iran, and a year later, Lamiz Coffee was launched with the goal of promoting coffee culture to the Iranian public at Tajrish Square (Sa’dabad branch).

Lamiz is a vertically integrated brand, covering everything from green coffee beans to the cup in your hand. The finest coffee beans are carefully and meticulously sourced directly from coffee farms around the world. Samples of these beans are evaluated by Lamiz’s Research & Development team, and our roasting specialists prepare unique roasting instructions tailored to each type of bean.
